Bailey Reynolds - Illustration and Tattoo Design

I am a young Irish illustration student keen on becoming a future tattoo artist. Since I was 12 years old I knew that was the career for me and I now start my journey to find myself an apprenticeship and find my place in the tattoo industry. Creating a portfolio to the best of your ability can be difficult. As I searched for information on the styles I wanted to learn I either struggled to find anything or found very little. Luckily I managed to to get work placement for college where I study illustration, in a tattoo shop. The brilliant artists in 'Inksane' Athlone, gave me a strong insight to some popular styles of tattoos. 

For my final year in college I decided to put a book together, this book. I wanted to make the information book I wish I had to help me create a stronger portfolio that shows an understanding of tattooing ahead of an apprenticeship. I hope this book can help people like myself interested in getting into the tattoo industry and wanting to broaden their knowledge to create a portfolio difficult to say no to. -  Bailey
